Ferndown and districtt U3A 2011-2012 Ferndown and District U3A is an independent group affiliated to the Third Age Trust, the national body of the University of the Third Age.     It is an all-voluntary movement which caters for the interests of those over 50 who are no longer in full- time employment.  Courses are relaxed and  informal, there are no entry qualifications and no examinations. Please pick up a prospectus in Ferndown Library Members are entitled to four sessions per week.  Single term and fortnightly sessions count as half.  In addition walks, social events, monthly meetings and outings are arranged.
